The steel industry in India is a growing market for all kinds of roller coverings. FKM Walzentechnik is particularly interested in the niche market of nonwoven coverings. At present, it is not possible to ship roll bodies from India to Germany to cover them with nonwovens materials. Therefore, FKM has developed the product of nonwoven sleeves which can be mounted onto roll bodies locally. At METEC India in Mumbai, which will be held from 23 to 25 November 2022, FKM will present the nonwoven sleeves product to potential customers.
